Pokémon GO is still going strong, with tons of players joining the adventure daily! Pokémon GO is making people get out he house, talk to people and go to places they’ve never been before! Want to get to know your neighborhood better? Here are 3 places in your neighborhood that are probably already Pokéstops!
1. Public Transportation Hubs
I live in NYC, so there are all type of transportation hubs wherever I look! Let it be a subway station, a major railroad terminal (like Grand Central Terminal) and just plain old bus stops. If you take public transportation to work, and want to use your transportation time for Pokémon GO, just tailor your route to work to make it the route with the most public transportation stops in it! It is very likely that the stops are also Pokéstops.
2. Murals and Publicly Available Art
You know that cool mural you always drive by on the side of the building where the coffee shop is? That’s a Pokéstop. It is so cool that Pokémon GO makes these pieces of art Pokéstops because then it allows people to admire the art first hand. Now you can admire it instead of just taking a quick glance at it as you walk by. Here in NYC, there are a bunch of murals in the LES (Lower East Side of Manhattan), Brooklyn and The Bronx, with these murals having a certain message about the neighborhood it is located in. Get out there and catch some Pokémon as you enjoy some unique art!
Yup, that huge castle looking structure where people to worship beings? Its also a place to capture some wild Pokémon and stock up on items! The best part about a church being a Pokéstop is that if you need to go inside the church to capture that Charmander, you can go inside to “kneel and pray” and capture the Charmander in peace. Of course if you’re gonna do this, lower your volume or risk the consequences of the Pastor challenging you to a battle!
And there you have it! 3 Places in your neighborhood that are very likely to already be Pokéstops. These places are good for placing your Lure Modules on and attracting tons of Pokémon to with a bunch of your friends. What are your thoughts?
